Rob Van Wielingen, CFA

With deep knowledge of systematic investment strategies, behavioural finance and financial markets, Rob is passionate about increasing transparency and accessibility for investors.

Rob has extensive experience in the portfolio management and technology sectors. He has been with Viewpoint Group since 2010, and has managed multi-asset, real estate, energy, alternative and public market portfolios. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Distinction from the University of Victoria, is a CFA Charterholder and a registered Portfolio Manager.

A born and raised Calgarian, Rob is an avid Flames fan. He has traveled extensively, including a term in Norway in which he studied the country’s renewable energy and oil & gas industries. He also sits on various investee companies and non-profit boards. In his spare time, Rob enjoys playing hockey, weightlifting, and spending time with his family.
